Grade: NJC Point 31 - £25,062.60 pro-rata per annum (£41,771 FTE)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Days: To be worked over 3 or 4 days across Monday to Thursday (flexibility required)
Contract: 12 months initial contract with possibility of extension

Main Purposes of the post
To lead the day-to-day operational management of the Answer Cancer programme, ensuring delivery to agreed targets, timescales and budgets. To work in partnership with Salford CVS’ partners, commissioners and stakeholders to increase the uptake of bowel, breast and cervical cancer screening amongst underserved communities across Greater Manchester.

Days: Monday to Friday (core hours are worked between 8am – 6pm)
Contract: Fixed-term contract, initially 12 months (continuation subject to further funding)

Main purposes of the post
To engage with a wide range of partners and volunteers to build active, more connected and resilient communities within the city of Salford. To deliver multiple areas of work around civil contingencies, humanitarian response and emergency response in Salford – from coordinating clear plans and processes and training and supporting volunteers, to enabling VCSE organisations to engage with the work. To support the development of our volunteering and active communities work across multiple services, including the rewarding, people-facing work of coordinating volunteers for local events and celebrations.
