Trusted Voices Champions share official information, key messages, and current public health advice and guidance through your networks of work colleagues, friends, and family to support the people of Salford throughout the covid pandemic and beyond into the current cost of living crisis.

Key messages for you to share - either in conversation or via your social media - for the period 13th March - 1st April 2023

  1. Voter ID - From 4th May, you’ll need photo ID to vote at polling stations. Voters will need to show photo ID which could be:  A passport, Driving license, Blue badge, Bus pass – if older/not young people’s bus passes though. Or if you don’t have the above you can apply online for Voter ID. Accepted forms of photo ID | Electoral Commission

  2. Household support fund - There are only a few weeks left to apply for round three of the Household Support Fund. If you need support with energy costs and buying food, make sure you apply before the deadline on Friday 31st March 2023 https://orlo.uk/HSF_BInD2
  3. Hate crime reporting - Hate crime reporting at Yemeni Community Association - EVERY MONDAY 3-4PM

  4. Boost4Youth - Salix Homes Boost4Youth fund is now open, offering grants up to £500 towards initiatives that help people aged between 11 and 24 who live in a Salix Homes neighbourhood. A funding pot of £10,000 is available. For more details see salixhomes.co.uk/boost4youth
