About VOCAL Inclusive Communties Form
VOCAL Inclusive Communities Forum launched in February 2019 and aims to reduce poverty and inequalities
It brings together voluntary, community & social enterprise (VCSE) groups working in Salford. It provides representation of the interests and views of VCSE organisations in Salford and represents these views to Salford Strategic Partnerships or commissioning bodies as agreed by the Forum. The forum also aims to ensure that members service users interests are considered and our member organisation’s expertise and diverse experience fully informs commissioning and strategy and works with partners towards a more effective, joined up service to better meet the needs of and improve outcomes for residents of Salford .
Objectives
- To provide broad ranging representation of the view and interests of VCSE organisations working to reduce poverty and inequalities within the City of Salford
- To represent the views of VOCAL Inclusive Communities Membership at Multi Agency Strategic Partnerships
- To ensure that the VOCAL Inclusive Communities Forum membership organisations expertise and diverse experience fully informs strategy, service transformation and commissions
