ACAS, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, is an independent public body funded by the government to provide free, independent advice on workplace issues. This includes employment rights, best practices and policies, and resolving workplace conflict. It helps employers and workers understand their rights and responsibilities at work and to deal with problems fairly.
ACAS provides free e-learning courses, online webinars, and paid specialist training.
This support can be particularly helpful for smaller VCSE organisations that have limited access to HR or legal support.
