Development Manager

As VCSE Development Manager, you will lead Bolton CVS' development work with charities, community groups and social enterprises across Bolton. 

You will oversee our membership offer, Volunteer Centre, training programme and sector forums, ensuring that services are high quality, accessible and responsive to local need. Working with colleagues, partners and sector organisations, you will use feedback, insight and data to shape services and identify opportunities for improvement. 

You will support and develop a team of Senior Development Officers who, in turn, manage staff and volunteers providing capacity-building support and run our Volunteer Centre and Family Hubs engagement and support services. 

You will play a key role in the strategic leadership of Bolton CVS, contributing to organisational planning and development, providing advice and guidance to the Senior Leadership Team on governance matters, and representing the organisation and the wider VCSE sector within local partnerships and networks.
