We are recruiting care experienced young people aged 18-25 to join our Peer Action Collective team of peer researchers who can contribute to our research and social action project aimed at understanding the care system and care experienced young people's involvement in peer violence.
We are recruiting two types of roles: Core PAC Leads (working 18 hours a week) and Flex PAC Leads (zero-hour contracts for more flexible work to suit you).
Pure Insight are the delivery partner for the Northwest on the PAC project, a YEF funded peer-research and social action project aiming to change the way that young people experience peer violence. We are co-led by lived experience of the care system and therefore all PAC Leads are required to be 18-25 years of age and have care, or edge-of-care (3+ years social worker involvement), experience. We kindly only ask for applicants with this experience as PAC Leads work as ‘peer’ researchers and social action workers and we need to make sure that everything we do is driven and co-produced by real lived expertise and understanding.
