The Alice Ruggles Trust offers volunteer opportunities as Assembly Facilitators who help raise awareness of stalking among young people. In this role, volunteers deliver short educational assemblies in local schools using the Trust’s prepared presentation and resources. The aim is to help students recognise stalking, understand its risks, and know where to seek help. Volunteers receive training from the Trust to deliver the assemblies, and reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed.

Skills and qualifications that may be needed or developed:

We are seeking volunteers who are confident in public speaking, particularly in a school setting.
Volunteers should feel comfortable delivering presentations to young people aged approximately Year 9 to Sixth Form.
An interest in raising awareness about stalking and promoting healthy relationships is also important.
