Children and Young People’s (CYP) Prevention Worker

Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.

Main purpose of the post: 

The Children and Young People’s (CYP) Prevention Worker will deliver group work and workshops to children and young people in education settings. You will be responsible for engaging children and young people in schools and colleges and to ensure a preventative and positive approach and understanding of domestic abuse and positive relationships.

You will be working both independently and collaboratively with partners. The work requires a flexible, creative thinker, who can work autonomously and deliver to agreed performance standards and outcomes.
