Senior Funding Officer

You’ll focus on providing an exceptional experience for applicants and funded organisations, ensuring Bolton CVS funding is accessible, transparent, and well managed. This role is central to the quality and efficiency of our grant-making operations. 

You will line manage the Funding and Grants Development Officers whose role are to support groups to apply for grants Bolton CVS distributes and to ensure that the team work together to maintain the highest standards of experience across all aspects of the funding journey. 

You will also work closely with the Funding and Grants Manager to develop the systems and offer best needed to enable the incredible VCSE sector in Bolton to grow and thrive. You will build meaningful relationships with our partners and VCSE organisations so that you can understand the funding and grant needs and dynamics of the sector and make sure that we give the right support to enable the sector to access the Bolton CVS funding programmes.
