BRM-led organisations receive around 50% less funding than other charities (Baring Foundation, 2024). The Phoenix Way exists to change that and that includes Salford.
The Phoenix Way (TPW) is a national racial justice movement supporting Black and Racially Minoritised organisations to access and shape grant funding across the UK. In the Northwest, TPW is led by Inclusive North, working alongside sub-regional partners Greater Manchester Ethnic Community Network (GMECN) and One Knowsley.
Free support available now to Salford-based BRM organisations:
One-to-one funding application support for National Lottery Reaching Communities and Awards for All
Bid writing and capacity-building workshops
Networking with BRM-led organisations across Greater Manchester
Listening Events happening in Greater Manchester. Book a listening closest to you in Bolton, Stockport, or Rochdale.
Your insights will shape a targeted BRM grant fund launching later this year, open to eligible organisations across Greater Manchester, including Salford.
