Services Coordinator - Registered Social Worker

We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and proactive registered Social Worker to join our leadership team and help shape the future of Europia's frontline services.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine professional social work practice with service leadership, quality improvement and organisational development within a growing community charity.

Based in Greater Manchester, you'll play a central role in coordinating our frontline services, supporting staff and volunteers through reflective supervision, and embedding high standards of professional practice across immigration advice, advocacy, welfare support, health and wellbeing, volunteering and community services.

You will also lead the development of Europia's new Services Delivery Framework and support the organisation in achieving the Advice Quality Standard (AQS), helping us strengthen the quality, consistency and impact of everything we do.

As part of a small leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to influence how services are designed, delivered and continuously improved, ensuring they remain safe, person-centred, culturally competent and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.

The role will suit someone who:

  • Is a qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
  • Has experience leading or supervising frontline practitioners, volunteers or students.
  • Has experience working with individuals or communities experiencing disadvantage, migration-related barriers, poverty, trauma or social exclusion.
  • Is passionate about reflective practice, safeguarding and delivering high-quality services.
  • Has strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple services and priorities.
  • Can build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, statutory agencies and community partners.
  • Enjoys developing new systems, improving services and embedding quality standards.
  • Shares our commitment to equality, inclusion and empowering diverse communities.

Why Europia?

Since 2008, Europia has supported and empowered European nationals in Greater Manchester, including Roma, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian and other vulnerable migrant communities. We provide a wide range of free services such as immigration advice, wellbeing projects, legal surgeries, emergency support, and cultural events.

At Europia, we are person-centred, community-led, and values-driven, placing empathy, respect, inclusion, and creativity at the heart of everything we do.

We are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that truly values diversity. We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities, people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, and LGBTQ+ communities.

We’re proud members of the Experts by Experience Employment Network and are committed to inclusive and accessible recruitment practices.

At Europia, you’ll have:

  • The opportunity to shape the future of our frontline services.
  • A genuine leadership role where your professional knowledge will influence organisational development.
  • The opportunity to mentor and develop staff, volunteers and future Social Workers.
  • The chance to improve services that make a meaningful difference to vulnerable communities every day.
  • A supportive, collaborative team committed to learning and continuous improvement.
