Storytelling & Content Creator

Stockport's Voluntary, Community, Faith based and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector work tirelessly to support residents with, often free to access, frontline care and support services. From social clubs to employment coaching and much more, our VCFSE sector plays a crucial part in helping people lead happy and healthy lives in Stockport.

As a Storytelling & Content Creator, you will be responsible for collecting stories and associated content of our VCFSE sector in action, (photos, videos, quotes etc.) for use in communications activity.

In this role, you will primarily, but not exclusively, be working with Live Well in Stockport funded organisations to help tell the story of the impact the fund is having on residents and communities.

Day to day you will be out and about in Stockport, meeting community groups and residents, learning about what they do and their impact on residents. You'll work closely with the Head of Comms, Impact & Influence; sharing content captured with them to be formatted ready for publishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and trust with community organisations to understand their work and the impact it has on Stockport residents
