Volunteer Opportunities

🌼 Volunteer with Baby Social – Help Families Connect, Play, and Grow 🌼
Are you someone who enjoys being around babies, chatting with parents, and creating a welcoming space for families? If so, we’d love to have you join us as a Baby Social Volunteer!
Our Baby Social sessions bring parents and their little ones together in a relaxed, friendly environment where they can meet others, share experiences, and try out fun activities that support baby’s early development and parenting skills. These sessions are often a highlight of the week for families – and you could be part of making that happen.
As a volunteer, you’ll work alongside our Early Help Practitioner to make each session run smoothly and feel special. From welcoming parents at the door, to supporting activities and play, your presence will help create an atmosphere of warmth, encouragement, and joy. Sometimes you’ll help parents try out new activities they can take home with them, giving them confidence and fresh ideas to enjoy with their baby.
🌟 What your role will involve:
Helping set up playful and engaging activities before families arrive
Giving parents a warm and friendly welcome to the session
Having supportive conversations with parents during the group
Interacting with babies and children through play, smiles, and encouragement
Tidying up and resetting the space at the end of the session
This role is perfect if you enjoy meeting new people, love being around little ones, and want to make a positive difference in your community. No previous experience is necessary – just your enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to get involved.
By volunteering with Baby Social, you’ll not only be supporting local families but also gaining valuable experience, building your confidence, and enjoying the feel-good factor of knowing you’re helping parents and babies thrive.
💖 If you’re caring, friendly, and love the idea of bringing smiles to families, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you. Come and be part of something special – we’d love to welcome you to the team!
These sessions runs on various days at different Hubs across Salford so please contact fhvolunteers@salfordcvs.co.uk to find out more
