Family Hubs - Baby Social Volunteer

Description:

In this role, you will be supporting the Early Help Practitioner running the Baby Social, and interacting and engaging with the parents and babies in the session. Some Baby Social sessions will involve teaching parents and babies a new fun activity they could try at home, to support with baby's development or parenting skills. As a volunteer, you will be supporting parents in modelling and trying these new activities.

You will be asked to:
- Support Early Help worker to set up activities for the session
- Welcome parents into the session
- Have conversations with parents in the session
- Engage with babies/children in the session
- Tidy away at end of session.
