There will be some changes happening to our DBS service from 1st June 2025.
Our DBS service is now only available to VCSE / not-for-profit organisations who operate in Greater Manchester. We will no longer be offering our DBS service to private companies.
Due to changes in ID requirements by the DBS, all applications and ID checks now need to be completed in person at our offices in Eccles. Appointments can be arranged by calling 0161 787 7795 or emailing dbs@salfordcvs.co.uk We are no longer able to offer our postal service and ID checks completed online or via video call.
The cost of a paid worker enhanced DBS check will also be increasing from 1st June. Due to an increase of £10.50 per application implemented by the DBS, we need to increase pricing to £71.50 per paid worker application. The cost of standard DBS checks will remain at their current price of £45.00, and volunteer applications will remain at £16.00.
