Work part-time (12hr per week) to support our small, friendly Finance team with a varied set of responsibilities spanning purchase ledger, credit control and helping with day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on role that contributes to the wider mission of our charity, making sure we use our resources wisely and responsibly.
Reporting to the Finance Manager
Duties include:
- Entering financial data accurately into our QuickBooks accounting system.
- Processing supplier invoices and payment requests
- Reviewing and processing staff and volunteer expenses
- Allocating incoming payments
- Maintaining petty cash
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Credit control
- Responding to queries, managing the finance email inbox and supporting team members from other departments
