Whether you are flying solo as a freelancer, part of an organisation, just starting out or a seasoned pro, this will be a perfect opportunity to meet likeminded people and make connections.
This time we are at GRIT Studios.
GRIT Studios has arrived in Salford Shopping Centre, providing affordable studio space for over 20 of Salford’s ‘Grafters & Crafters'.
They’ve turned an empty Natwest bank site into a space for grassroots artists and makers, encouraging open collaboration, problem solving and sharing opportunities to help the community realise their potential.
GRIT Studios CIC is on a mission to build a huge collective of makers across Greater Manchester and already have studio spaces in Stockport and Manchester city centre.
They are delighted to host the Salford Creative Mixer to showcase some of Grafters & Crafters and to help plug them into the great happenings across Salford.
There will be open studios during the mixer, so people will be able to meet resident creatives and get an insight into their work. They've got everything from fine art, to mosaics, to screen printing, to textiles.
Also joining us at the event, will be the creative assistants from the Young Company to tell us about a new piece of work they are making with Breaking Barriers and a Young Artists mixer coming to Salford and how you can get involved.

Entry is also free but the event is ticketed so please book in advance.
