Join the GM Creative Health Champions programme!
Creative Health Champions is the professional development and leadership strand of the GM Creative Health Place Partnership. The GM Creative Health Place Partnership is a three-year programme funded by the Arts Council to embed creative health approaches across the health and social care system in GM. They are part of Live Well and believe that culture and creativity can contribute to prevention, reduce inequalities and support people to live healthier and happier lives.
To complete the training, you will ideally complete 3 modules. Each module consists of 2 x 1.5 hour sessions delivered online by experts in that field. Each module can be taken as a standalone unit.
Module 1: Creative Health and Health Inequalities
- Tuesday 7th October 9.00 - 10.30am / Wed 22nd October 9.30 – 11am
- Tuesday 11th November 1.30 – 3pm/ Tuesday 25th November 1.30 – 3pm
Module 2: Creative Health: Good Quality Practice
- Wednesday 1st October 10 - 11.30am / Wednesday 8th October 10 - 11.30am
- Thursday 16th October 1.00 - 2.30pm / Thursday 23rd October 1 - 2.30pm
Module 3: Choose one or more from the following specialist themes:
- Creative Health, Older adults and Brain Health.
- Wed 12th Nov / Wed 19th November (Time TBC)
- Creative Health and Global Majority Mental Health (Dates TBC)
- Creative Health and Pulmonary Health (Dates TBC)
- Creative Health and the Early Years (Dates TBC)
- Creative Health and Neurodivergent Young People (Dates TBC)
