Morning Star is a supported accommodation project which offers a pathway out of homelessness for single men. It provides high-quality, single-room accommodation for 20 single men, which is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As a Weekend Project Worker you will provide a high-quality customer service to residents at our Morning Star accommodation project. You will also provide a friendly and professional welcome to residents coming in and out of the building and spend time with residents who are in the communal areas.
You will facilitate a daily activity for the residents e.g. cooking, gardening or social activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the security of the building, doing building checks, dealing with emergencies, answering telephone calls, monitoring CCTV and undertaking minor domestic tasks.
You must have excellent customer service, IT and admin skills and a positive approach to team working.
Experience of working with people that are homeless and may be vulnerable or disadvantaged groups in a residential/similar setting is essential.
The hours of the role are 8:45am to 21:15pm Saturday and Sunday.
You must have experience of working with people that are homeless in supported housing.
