Transport for Sick Children is a charity based in Stockport with a team of dedicated volunteers who provide transport for accompanied children to hospital and clinic appointments.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as an Admin Assistant at Transport for Sick Children. The post involves processing new volunteer driver applications, monthly volunteer expense claims, inputting referrals and managing diary, as needed to support Transport Organisers. The post holder will be required to perform other administrative duties as needed to support the smooth running of the office.
Hours: 15 hours per week (3 days)
Flexibility to cover for periods of holiday, sickness and absence.
Service hours are Monday - Friday 08:30am – 16:00pm
(Exact working days and hours can be discussed).
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a small team
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Experience of Microsoft 365 package, Microsoft Dynamics knowledge would be a bonus
- Experience of working within the voluntary sector is advantageous
