Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer cleaners are needed to help out with:-
To assist in keeping the shop premises clean and tidy, including all areas to which the public have access; and specifically to ensure all floors/carpets are swept, windows are cleaned, surfaces are dusted, bins emptied and packaging etc removed.
In the shop areas where agreed with the Community Leader to assist in the cleaning of all products and materials and items for sale.
In the office accomodation, corridors, staircase areas, entrance lobby, kitchen, toilet areas and other common facilities at Emmaus House, to ensure floors are swept/mopped/cleaned, windows and doors with glass insert panels are cleaned, skirting boards in corridors are cleaned, surfaces and cupboard fronts dusted/cleaned, sinks/draining boards cleaned.
Report any defects noted in any of the areas being cleaned to the Community Leader who acts as Buidling Manager on behalf of the Trustees
Cleaning duties specifically excludes the staff accommodation, all bedrooms, Community Lounge, Community Laundry, Community Kitchen and Community Dining Room.
