Description:

Lifecentre Salford are working in partnership with Salford City Council to run 'Summer of Fun' for children all over the city in the summer holidays. Lifecentre are running 15 holiday clubs and we need volunteers to help run them.

The types of activities you will be doing is helping with games, crafts and activities, eating with the children at lunch time and helping out with any other task. The holiday clubs are a lot of fun and requires dedication and attention to all the children.

The clubs are running;
Monday 26th July-Thursday 29th July 10am-3pm
Monday 2nd August-Thursday 5th August 10am-3pm
Monday 9th August-Thursday 12th August 10am-3pm
Monday 16th-Thursday 19th August 10am-3pm

We are looking for volunteers who can dedicate time in any of these weeks. For continuity of care for the children it would be beneficial if you can dedicate a week but we understand that certain days may not be suitable so please do let us know what days you could do over the 4 weeks.

DBS checks will be provided if you haven't already got one.

Skills and qualifications that may be needed or developed:

To do this role you will need experience of working with children at any level. You may be a parent, uncle, aunty, brother, sister, grandma or have worked professionally with children before.

You will need to be enthusiastic, caring, kind and most of all love playing and having fun with the children.
