Description:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a male volunteer to provide one-to-one emotional support to children and young people aged 10–16 who have been impacted by parental imprisonment.
Role Overview:
• Provide consistent emotional support in schools or community settings
• Help young people engage in positive community activities
• Offer transport or accompaniment to activities
• Build trusting relationships that foster resilience and self-esteem

What type of activity will volunteers be doing?: Advice, Guidance and Advocacy, Children, Community Work, Mentoring Befriending and Buddying, Youth Work and Young People
Where is the opportunity based?: Greater Manchester

• Ability to listen, empathise, and support without judgment
• DBS check required (can be arranged if needed)
