Volunteer Opportunities
Eccles Community Hall Organisation, Event Support Volunteers
All volunteer roles can be adapted to suit individual preferences. Our event timings are irregular, morning, afternoon or evening. Therefore, volunteering can fit in with a volunteer’s lifestyle. Our teams of volunteers work closely with each other. ECHO volunteers are helping to breathe new life into Eccles and the wider community of Salford.
Event Hospitality Team
Supporting the Kitchen and Café’s many functions.
Serving in the ECHO bar.
Interfacing with the public: meeting and greeting our visitors; giving directions; communicating our house rules and emergency procedures.
Event Facilities Team
Setting up furniture for events; operating audio-visual equipment; operating stage lighting; equipment maintenance; minor building maintenance.
Event Publicity Team
Printing and laminating posters and fliers; distributing posters and fliers; poster design; maintaining ECHO website; sending out the monthly email Newsletter.

• Make new friends;
• Do what you want, when you can;
• Help ECHO to provide an excellent venue for Salford;
• Contribute to front of house and event layouts;
• Help provide technical support (audio-visual, lighting) at our events;
• People person? Meet and greet our attendees or help with hospitality for our guests.
