Description:

Purpose: To help run The Angel Centre’s community café, providing a welcoming space and healthy lunches for local people.
Core Tasks
• Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and take lunch orders.
• Help prepare and serve food, drinks, and snacks (under supervision).
• Set up tables and chairs before lunch service.
• Clear tables, wash up, and maintain cleanliness throughout the café area.
• Follow basic food hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Work as part of a small team to ensure lunch service runs smoothly.
• Chat with visitors and help create a warm, inclusive environment.
Occasional or Optional Tasks
• Help with food prep or baking when needed.
• Assist with café stock checks (tea, coffee, sugar, etc.).
• Support café events or themed community lunches.
