Description:

Purpose: To help keep The Angel Centre and its surroundings tidy, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Core Tasks
• Sweep external paths, steps, and entrance areas.
• Weed and water planters or flower beds around the building.
• Check outdoor seating, signs, and noticeboards.
• Tidy and clean outdoor furniture or bins as needed.
• Carry out small DIY or maintenance tasks (e.g. tightening screws, oiling hinges).
• Report any repairs or safety concerns to staff.
Occasional or Optional Tasks
• Assist with light painting or decorating projects.
• Support larger maintenance days or external contractors.
• Help set up or tidy outdoor areas for events.
• Assist with community events, such as neighbourhood litter picks.

- Practical, hands-on approach and willingness to “muck in”
- Basic DIY or maintenance knowledge (painting, simple repairs, etc.)
