Why This Role Matters
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a real difference — all from the comfort of home. You’ll be helping primary pupils in Years 3–6 build confidence in reading, writing, and maths through short, engaging online sessions. Whether you’re a trainee teacher, tutor, or just passionate about education, your support will be hugely valued.
Typical Tasks You Might Support With
• Planning and delivering short, lively online sessions for small groups
• Supporting core skills: reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, arithmetic, reasoning, times tables, and problem-solving
• Using simple assessment checks and recording quick progress notes
• Setting light, purposeful practice tasks and sharing feedback with parents
• Maintaining excellent online safeguarding practices (e.g. waiting rooms, no 1:1s unless pre-approved, session logging)

Is This You?
• You have experience with the KS2 curriculum (e.g. as a teaching assistant, tutor, trainee teacher, or through academic study)
• You’re warm, encouraging, and able to adapt for different learning needs
• You’re confident using online tools (screen share, interactive whiteboards, Google/Microsoft Docs)
• You’re reliable, organised, and a good communicator
