Volunteer Opportunities
As a volunteer, you will support people experiencing homelessness to access healthcare and improve their health outcomes. This involves providing one-to-one advocacy, helping clients prepare for and attend appointments, understand medical information, and speak up for themselves. This can also involve helping with IT literacy or be a less client facing role if that is your preference. You’ll maintain regular contact with clients, report safeguarding concerns, and share feedback to improve services. The role is flexible within weekday working hours and may involve short-term or longer-term support depending on client needs. It will involve some time spent in the main office in Swan Street but primarily will be community based within Salford.
