Description:

Post Community Newspapers have a team of volunteers who help their neighbours receive a copy of their local, community-focused, free newspaper each month.

Our delivery driver brings volunteers the volume of newspapers they are happy to deliver to homes - we have volunteers who deliver 30 copies and some who deliver 600.

Volunteers then deliver to the homes on a street(s) that has been confirmed within the following two weeks. We don't expect newspapers to be delivered as soon as volunteers receive them, and we don't want our volunteers to go out to deliver in poor weather.

Volunteers receive an email each month to confirm delivery. Should any volunteers be away or unable to deliver one month, should they wish to alter the volume they deliver, or wish to cease delivering, we just require an email to let us know.

Our volunteers enjoy delivering The Post as it is a good excuse for some gentle exercise and to interact with neighbours.
