Volunteer Opportunities
To support the running of city-wide social groups for people with dementia by providing opportunities for individuals to meet together, pursue hobbies and interests and try new activities.
Your daily schedule will vary and might include support in delivering activities, making refreshments (tea/coffee), tidying up and washing dishes at meal times, do a quiz or sit down and have a chat with somebody about their hobbies or reminiscing about the past.
Different opportunities and hours available:
- Dementia Café (Tuesday PM fortnightly)
- Buddy Club (Wednesday or Friday, half day available)
Please note we cannot support placements.
