Volunteer Opportunities
Supporting service users one-to-one or in small groups at hub sessions across Greater Manchester.
Helping people complete online forms and processes for NHS, benefits, and housing services.
Explaining digital tasks in plain, patient terms, at the service user's own pace.
Occasionally supporting home visits for service users who are housebound, always alongside another volunteer or staff member.
Flagging any concerns about a service user's wellbeing or safety to the project lead.
Helping capture simple session records to track impact.
These tasks are not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other duties in order to meet the needs of the hub and those who are attending.

A friendly, patient manner and genuine interest in helping people from all walks of life.
· Confidence using everyday digital tools (smartphone, email, basic web browsing).
· Reliability and a willingness to commit to regular sessions, with flexibility to work across different hubs.
· Comfortable working with adults from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, ages, and first languages, including migrants and asylum seekers.
· No formal qualifications required.
