Salford Everywhere is an ambitious public art project that forms part of a wider cultural programme, produced by From The Other &
Walk The Plank, marking Salford’s 100th anniversary as a City.
Created and developed over the course of 2026, Salford Everywhere is a collective video portrait of Salfordians from across the city, projected as giants moving across its buildings. Culminating in a city gathering at Peel Park to celebrate Salford's people on its 100th birthday.
Capturing the essence of Salford
We’re thrilled to invite you to be part of something truly special: Salford Everywhere! This exciting project is a vibrant collective video portrait of incredible Salfordians, the people who live, work and play here year-round. The final piece will be projected as larger-than-life giants moving across our city’s buildings, culminating in a dazzling finale gathering at Peel Park to mark Salford’s 100th birthday. Whether you’re an individual or part of a group, this is your chance to be filmed and photographed as we capture the essence of what makes Salford so unique and wonderful.
We’re partnering with the talented artist Matthew Rosier and the inspiring movement director Kevin Turner from Company Chameleon, who will help bring this playful and creative vision to life. It’s not just an opportunity to represent Salford; it’s a chance to be part of a shared moment in time and a joyful experience that unites us all!
To get involved, please confirm your interest and let us know your availability for one hour of filming on:
- week commencing 18 May 2026
- or week commencing 01 June 2026
Once you’re on board, we’ll follow up with all the details you need. If you have any further questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us. We can’t wait to hear from you and look forward to celebrating our city together!
