What is Pride in Place?
Forty million pounds of government-secured funding is coming to Salford over the next ten years through Pride in Place. Pendleton and, Brookhouse and Peel Green will each receive up to £20 million – and local people will decide how the money’s spent.

Salford CVS’s role
Salford CVS is providing independent support to help set up the neighbourhood Boards in both Pendleton and Brookhouse and Peel Green. We are working alongside Salford City Council to:
- Support the Boards
- Make sure local residents, community groups and people who work in the area are included and represented
Help create an open, fair and welcoming process so everyone has the chance to get involved
