Introduction to Social Value – Demystifying Social Value

Through attending this half-day course participants will have an opportunity to explore what social value means and how to measure social value in a simple and effective way to benefit their organisation.

The course is free to Salford community, voluntary and social enterprise organisations and £35.00 for other organisations who wish to attend.

Aim

To explore what Social Value means for voluntary and community organisations.

Learning outcomes

  • Understanding of what social value means and the importance of measuring it
  • Understanding of what sort of things should be measured
  • Increased awareness of tools and methods to measure social value
  • Better understanding of how to start to demonstrate your social impact
