Salford CVS AGM and 60 Second Pitch

Join us at our 43rd Annual General Meeting, at Eccles Community Hall on Tuesday 13th December at 5.30pm.

As well as the formal AGM business and special resolution we will be hosting the popular ‘Pitch in 60 Seconds’ session, where CVS member organisations can choose to speak to the room for 60 seconds, explaining why their organisation deserves to win £1,000. Last year Salford Loaves and Fishes made an impressive pitch and received £1,000 towards their activities!

Pitch in 60 Seconds

If you want to pitch on the day you must complete this form and return to us no later than 2nd December 2016. Only the first 20 organisations who return their forms will be able to pitch.

Pitch Rules

At the end of the pitches everyone who attends the AGM will vote for their winner. The winning organisation will then be revealed and promptly presented with their £1,000 cheque.

VCSE organisations of any size can apply to bid – the only rules are:

1. You are a full member of CVS
2. You attend ALL of the AGM, from 5.30pm – 7pm
3. You take no more than 60 seconds to clearly pitch what you want the £1,000 for
4. The money is to be spent on charitable activities which clearly benefit the people of Salford

Great Big Festive Quiz

Following the AGM you can join us for our Great Big Festive Quiz to raise funds for Salford4Good. The quiz will see the return of our own Brucie's Play Your Cards Right and name the Salford 4 Good bear. The famously tough quiz questions won't be as hard this time - but we will still have a more demanding round for those who like a challenge!

Tickets are £5 per person. Teams are made up of 6 people and your ticket will include a buffet on the night. To reserve your place, please register online.
