Tech & Tea

Salford Third Sector Consortium are currently delivering the Tech & Tea programme within Salford.

The project is being managed by one of our members Inspiring Communities Together and being delivered through a range of members and partners.

Tech and Tea is an older person (65 years and older) digital skills project which has been funded through the Salford Together Integrated Care Programme. The project was initially for one year until October 2016 but due to its sucess it has been extended until 2019.

The programme

The programme is delivered in an informal way over five weeks (2.5 hours per session) by qualified adult learning tutors. The technology used is both lap tops and tablets and these can be provided if the facility does not have the equipment. A mobile wifi server can also be provided if internet access is not available.

How do I get involved?

We are always looking to develop our programme of deliveryand are looking for both venues and older people (both individuals and groups) who may be interested in accessing this opportunity, room hire costs can be paid if this is a barrier.

If you and/or your organisation are interested in a course being delivered or if you would like further details about the course then please email or contact Matt Bell on 0161 743 3625.
