The next Difficult Dialogue on 'Crisis in Europe?', in partnership with Europia and many others, will give you the opportunity to talk about the awful events happening currently in Europe as well as wider issues relating to our exit from the EU.

The event is open to all and will be hybrid with both in-person and online access (Zoom link will be sent after registration).


One member of staff and around 80 volunteers and endless guests make up the team that is Salford City Radio!

Salford City Radio have served the Salford community for nearly 15 years, providing a platform and a voice for community and charitable organisations, local businesses, schools, local theatres, artists and musicians from Salford and further afield, and much, much more.

As they apply to renew their Ofcom licence for the next 5 years, they need financial support to assist with the cost of that and other licence fees, equipment and running costs.

Manchester Cathedral

Manchester Cathedral is hosting an event to bring faith communities together to create a greater awareness of safeguarding on the 30th March 2022, 2pm - 16:30pm. 

This is an opportunity for faith institutions to come together and discuss issues in Greater Manchester.

During the event, there will be workshops, a panel discussion, opportunities to network and share learnings. 


A film highlighting the work of homelessness charity Emmaus Salford, created by a pair of volunteers during lockdown, has made the final shortlist in the 5th Charity Film Awards.

Creatives Isy and Leigh Anderson from Bury used some of their time during the pandemic to volunteer and create short films for Emmaus Salford. The charity supports formerly homeless people by providing a stable home, meaningful work, training and individual support.

Rachel Richardson, Community Director at Emmaus Salford, said:


IMHN are hosting a shared learning event, for peer support facilitators to come together and discuss challenges & best practice.

Join them on Tuesday 29 March, 12.30pm - 1.30pm

The forum will be a space to discuss any thoughts and experiences of running peer support. We will discuss the challenges we can all face, as well as our hopes and vision for peer support. We hope that the forum will serve as a space where we can all learn from, and support, each other to develop best practice, and hopefully leave reinvigorated and inspired.


Theatre In Flow is hosting a creative and participatory event in celebration of International Women's Day. 

This free and inclusive event is will be an opportunity for women to come together and share stories of transformation and change. With Legislative Theatre games, a collaborative art workshop, and a craftivism session, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved and work towards breaking the bias faced by women in the creative sector.

The Home Secretary made an announcement on 1 March with further concessions on visas for Ukrainians coming to the UK on a family migration route.
